This morning held a brief promise of drier weather, compared with yesterday. Symphony (aka the Ginger Beast) was less challenging as we headed up to St Andrews Fields. As we left the house, the sky was bright but I didn't think there would be much to point the camera at.

By the time we had reached Ashlawn Road, the sky was changing, with just enough cloud to become a golden glow.

The sun was making an appearance which meant I had only a small window of opportunity to capture images as it rose over Barby.
The golden glow lasted only ten minutes, so it was right place at the right time! The Sun was soon higher and brighter but dark cloud was threatening from the west. Indeed, shortly after arriving home, rain was falling! And it continued with a rather unpleasant morning (day).
