Symphonys Special Day - Part 2

Well, after three hours in the groomers hands, a cleaner and less shaggy Symphony was returned to us! She certainly challenged the groomer, who at one point, needed the help of two other people! That's our Symphony!

A post groom walk on the St Andrews Fields, had Symphony doing her best to find something "pleasant" to dogs to roll in!

Investigating a hedge, just in case something smelly was in there!

Can we go home now? I'm really quite tired!

Thank you, I really enjoyed my special day. Now, where are the muddy puddles............?

30th April 2014 - Symphonys Special Day!

April 23rd was Syphonys second birthday and today she is due her special birthday treat. She's off to Dunsmore Kennels for a pampering of bathing, clipping and a general lady day! I could not resist a "before" image and will post the "after" images later! So, not a lot on our walk, other than observing the bullocks, who seemed to be having an over the hedge natter!

Have a great morning Symphony!

29th April 2014

Not very spring like!

Well, our plans were thwarted yet again! An intended photo shoot was postponed last Friday due to rain and today due to fog! So a regular dog walk in the fog and heavy dew!

I wonder why the police are interested in this muddy puddle?

We met a few "friends!

Horny!

The shy one!

Remembering the "dandelion clock"!

A bad hair day?

"Thingies"?

How now brown cow bullock!

26th April 2014

Rotten to the Core!

This mornings walk was rather damp and dull, so very little of interest was to be seen. The day improved by the afternoon with sunshine, warmth but a fresh breeze. The walk was serenaded with the song of Skylarks, punctuated by the song and bright flashes of Yellowhammers.

The view from the sports fields

A good, happy clump!

Regeneration begins!

Tree guarding the ridge!

Spring begins to mature!

Ryton Pools Country Park

A change of scenery for this mornings dog walk saw us at Ryton Pools Country Park. This was re-arranged due to the rather inclement weather, which was a good mixture of gloom, light rain and heavy rain! It was possible to salvage a few images in the gloom and we all enjoyed the walk and a bacon butty at the cafe!

I don't like this "thing" called a bird hide!

I wonder what's down this hole?

Where's my Bacon Butty?

Water off a ducks back!

24th April 2014

Symphony is over her mild vomiting illness and almost at the end of her antibiotics (a challenge in itself, getting her to take them!). A slightly misty, dewy morning with the hint of a bright, warm day to come.
