I really wanted to take images of the sunrise on New Years Day, even arriving at Draycote Water in the dark to achieve this aim New Years Day! As you can see from the link it didn't really happen! Today, we were back on the St Andrews Fields and, a day late, managed a New Year sunrise! Even this was not without a challenge (and I don't mean Symphony!). A "thick" front had not quite moved away so the sunrise was actually very much later than expected as it presented above the front! Any way, a day late, I hope you enjoy!
