Flamborough Headland - North Landing (and soggy socks!)

Today's weather promised to disappoint and certainly achieved its aim! The morning was mild but very gloomy, with the afternoon promising to be rather wet! A brief window of opportunity saw us arrive at North Landing. The cliff path was ankle deep in mud, which didn't suit the footwear of our students, Abi & Henry, so we walked the steep slope down to the beach. The swell was quite spectacular and one particular wave chose to challenge me, the unwary, and out ran me, over the top of my boots, giving me soggy socks for the remaining time out!

This is the one that got me! I am no Canute!
