Durham

Yesterday was Abigail's 21st birthday, so today we all travelled up to Durham to meet, give presents and enjoy an excellent meal! Having picked up Abi we headed to Wharton Park for a walk before lunch at The Old Mill at nearby Metal Bridge. The parkland was given to Durham by William Lloyd Wharton (1789-1869).

Symphony enjoyed "posing"!

Looking rather concerned!

Good views were obtained over towards the cathedral. The church are perhaps attempting to educate the populous in sex education as the tower appears to be sporting a large condom!

Commemorating "Albert the Good" (Prince Albert) minus his head!

No jokes about "Mothers in Law" please!
