Sewerby Hall Grounds

A pleasant start!

For our walk today we headed to the grounds of Sewerby Hall. Symphony was very impressed, with new smells in the woodland and gardens but also with trying to catch the numerous Squirrels! It was very amusing when she tried to follow them up their escape trees and then realising she had no traction! In the walled gardens, we found some very strange characters!

Symphony Enjoying North Side, Bridlington!

Simple pleasures - a dog, a beach, a ball, low tide and reasonable weather! Some good exercise on North Side (dog permissible area), Bridlington. Symphony is not keen on the sea as the waves chase her, it tastes funny and it smells! She does, however, like the pools left by the receding tide which are not so scary! I don't think she will ever be "Salty the Sea Dog" but as long as she is happy....!

Come on! Hurry up! I'm waiting!

Yay! We can see Flamborough Headland today!

Where's my ball?

Yuk! That tasted salty!

Here's my ball!

This isn't my ball!

It must be here somewhere!

Here it is!

Filey

Low Tide

The weather of late on the East Yorkshire Coast has been diabolical with sea frets, strong, cold northerly winds and rain! With the (sort of) promise of improvement, we headed to Filey to Symphony a run on the dog friendly beach under the country park. It was still cold, with strong wind and a sea fret! When will we see some decent weather? Symphony enjoyed her run and nearly forgot her fear of the scary sea by paddling in the shallows! She also enjoyed covering us with wet sand as her traction control failed while chasing her ball!
